Above is a photo of Oscar’s original grave. Today his grave is constantly being defaced by visitors. Here’s to hoping that one day people will show proper respect for the life and death of one of the greatest literary figures of all time.

It appears the Wildean’s wish has come true. His tomb has been restored and covered with a glass shield.
